About

Life takes a lot of weird twists and turns, and thankfully I ended up here - as a painter. I combine my love of hiking the Colorado wilderness with capturing these breathtaking moments on paper in the truest form of expression I've ever experienced: Watercolor.

After studying at the renowned Crealdé School of Art in Winter Park, Florida, I continued my education under two prominent Central Florida artists: Cindy Sturla and Stewart Jones. My growth as an artist really took flight when I passed the "Welcome to Colorado" sign under a massive supercell, the Rockies emerging from the dark summer storm looming overhead.

Adventures abound out here in the Wild West, and my paintings are an invitation to join me on my climbs up mountains, hikes over rivers and through forests, and pauses on the edge of cliffs at sunset, wondering if we are indeed the only humans on Earth experiencing this incredible show only Mother Nature can provide.

Each watercolor is a relic of an expedition, forged in my studio or in plein air to bring that wild and beautiful feeling to your customized space to enjoy. Feel free to browse my gallery to see which painting speaks to you.
